What happened

150 households took part in this first national edition of the Minimeringsmästerna challenge organized by the region of Göteborg with financial support from Avfall Sverige. The challenge covered five themes: Sustainable consumption, Food Waste, Dangerous Waste, Circular Economy and Textile.

The participants have learnt on sustainability and waste reduction through online workshops and meetings. They have put their knowledge and creativity into practice in different challenges.

It has been a great experience for Zero Waste Stockholm to partner with the city of Stockholm on this project and to coach and follow the 10 participating households from Stockholm.

In total the ten households reduced their waste by 42% in average which is an incredible result that we hope will inspire many to look with new eyes at their waste and consumption.
